Adager authorization code
I was messing around with a PathFix on a test database and I aborted it when it was rebuilding. Now, of course my database is disabled.

This is Adager's dialogue after it opens the database the next time around:

Under certain conditions, we can reset this flag. Contact Adager to discuss your specific situation. Adager authorization code [4692053] ? << I issued a blank answer >> Contact Adager.

Can you guys let me know how to set this back? Or is it a secret?
Of course we can tell you how to set this back. And, of course, it is a secret. What a pickle.

Seriously, though, there are some fundamental issues involved and this is why Adager refuses to blindly open your database.

Whenever Adager does database transformations, there is a transition period during which your database is not in a consistent state. Adager must be allowed to complete everything in its "to do" list. We know that, sometimes, Adager can't finish (due to a variety of possible reasons). So, Adager always makes careful notes before it dives in, just in case it can't resurface. When you run Adager again on an inconsistent database, Adager gives you the message in question and issues a challenge. If you know what you are doing, you can answer properly and Adager will allow you to work with the inconsistent database so that you can make it consistent again (usually by redoing or completing some tasks). We have made the conservative assumption that you probably don't know what is going on internally and we ask you to contact us so that we may help you straighten things out.

The easiest thing for us would be to let you do whatever you want to a database which is known to be inconsistent. We prefer to take a more responsible approach. Our answer: Please contact Adager whenever you see this message.
